Writing Your Advert
Spending the time to write a really good advert will be rewarded by an increased number of enquiries and will help you sell your property more speedily.
You must be factual and accurate in your description. There is abolutely no point in wasting everybody’s time by stretching the truth when describing your property.
We also recommend that you have 6 good photos ready to be uploaded into your advert, our expereince has shown that adverts with 6 good photos tend to produce a greater volume of high quality leads than those without any photos. All photos are resized automatically by our web site.
At the end of the advert writing process you will be asked whether you would like to buy a ‘For-Sale’ board. Here again, our experience has shown that these can be effective on providing additional leads. Our boards are bright and professional and will be personalised with your contact details (or 0845 number if you prefer). There may be occasions when people simply knock on the door if they see a For-Sale board at the property. This can be extremely effective – a member of the buyfromtheowner team managed to sell his property within 1 hour of a knock at his door!
